92 Points"…this is more about texture, density and length." - Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Chardonnay - North Canterbury
2018 Pyramid Valley North Canterbury ChardonnaySlightly hazy appearance with a golden lemon hue. Attractive nose with Nashi pear and citrus fruits, with an underlying savoury complexity. The palate is vibrant with tension and length, showing a nice mixture of bright fruit and savoury elements that North Canterbury is renowned for.
92 Points"Complex and elegant, with pear, peach and yellow apple flavors that are sleek and satiny.” - Wine Spectator

Orange – North Canterbury
2020 Pyramid Valley North Canterbury OrangeLuminous peach/ copper hue, with a reassuring, organic, light haze. Lifted floral aromas leap out of the glass along with orange rind and an earthy complexity. Lovely fine phenolics fill the mouth giving great weight and a moreish texture to the wine. Orange rind, Campari/ Negroni like flavours follow. A great wine to accompany a variety of tapas-style foods.
93 Points"Full-bodied, approachable and welcoming, with refreshing acidity and an appealing bitter twist." - Vinous

Pinot Noir – Central Otago
2018 Pyramid Valley Central Otago Pinot NoirMedium dark purple with clear hues. Fragrant blackberry and raspberry with hints of liquorice, black pepper and clove. Sweet red plum, cherry and spice. Richly textured with lovely minerality. Complex with a long and silky sweet berry finish.
94 Points"It really comes to life on the palate, which is both vivacious and structured. Elegant, poised and highly drinkable." - Wine Enthusiast

Pinot Noir – North Canterbury
2016 Angel Flower Pinot NoirDense, sustained ruby/garnet. Dizzyingly aromatic, swells from the glass: indurate spice – clove, cumin, caraway, cassia; ripe and bright red fruit – raspberry, redcurrant, Morello cherry. Quite a head-spinning, aromatic ride. Penetrating, juicy, sappy, brisk yet enveloping; vibrant flavours of red fruit and spice; also a lively earthy component that is relatively new to this vineyard, arriving in recent vintages: born of vine age and a deeper root structure, no doubt. One could hardly ask for a more invigorating, seductive, and briskly legitimate example of this wine.

Botanical Collection – North Canterbury
Pyramid Valley Botanical Collection 4-pack presentation caseThe story of our Botanical Collection is rooted in the foundations of our Waikari Estate in North Canterbury. The initial plantings were arranged by Mike and Claudia Weersing according to specific minute changes in soil composition between the unique limestone and clay particles. These changes reflected the decision to plant either Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. Interestingly, the meadow growing in each parcel was also different, with different species of meadow plants being present. These parcels have been named according to the dominant botanicals in the meadows from their beginnings as a vineyard in 2000, and since their release in 2006 they have created a new dimension for fine New Zealand wine, illustrating the incredible impact of this remarkable vineyard on the sense of wine.
They are wines that truly breathe of their place.Secure your collection of the 2016 Botanical Collection, presented in a stunning custom-made display case.

Sauvignon Blanc - Marlborough

92 Points"There are pure Sauvignon Blanc flavors, but of the less flamboyant kind: elderflower, nettle, lime and the merest note of flint.” - Vinous

Chardonnay - Hawke's Bay
2020 Smith & Sheth CRU Heretaunga ChardonnayA clean and bright pale straw colour. Fruit flavours of citrus, ripe grapefruit and nectarine. Mid-weight in style with elegant oak present, adding texture and complexity of flavour. The structure is focused yet nicely fleshy with great concentration. It displays delicacy, but the richness and beautifully linear acidity make it a fantastic match with food.

Pinot Noir - Central Otago
2019 Smith & Sheth CRU Kawarau Pinot NoirDeep plum with purple hues. Bright aromatics of blackberry, plum, black cherry, aniseed, liquorice, cloves and violets.
